Electrical Adjustments
[Before adjustment]
- Set to normal display mode.
- Switch the white uniformity compensation mode on.
Enter to the service mode , select data no. “172” and change data value from “007A” to “00FA” (mode On).
- Initialized the all of compensation data. (This is required when the LCD panel is replaced more than 2 pan-
els.)
1) Enter to the service mode, select data no. ”169” and change data value to “0009”.
2) Press the VOLUME
button once, the data value will change to “0000”. The initialization will be done . The
all of compensation data for RGB are to be center value “32”.
[How to adjust white uniformity]
- Mode : Video or Computer mode
- Input Signal : not required
- Picture control : Normal level
[1] Enter to the service mode.
[2] Select data no. “168” and press VOLUME
button. The following adjustment screen will appear.
[3] Adjust the white uniformity
1) Move the adjustment area to the position you want to adjust by pressing the pointers (

,
,
) button
on the projector.
2) Adjust the white balance in the adjustment area (The adjustment range is 0 to 64).
- To change R (Red) white balance , press the ZOOM (
,
) button on the projector.
- To change G (Green) white balance , press the FOCUS (
,
) button on the projector.
- To change B (Blue) white balance , press the LENS SHIFT (
,
) button on the projector.
Repeat step 1 to 2 for remaining area.
[4] Press the MENU button to exit the white uniformity adjustment mode.
[5] Press the POWER-ON/OFF button to return to the normal mode.

This adjustment should be carried out when existing the color shading on the screen or after replacing the LCD
panels. (When replacing the main board, the memory IC, IC806 on the main board should be replaced with the
one on previous board, so that the white uniformity adjustment may not be required because the data of white
uniformity adjustment are stored in this memory IC)
