Entering Kana
The
0
to
9
dial keys can be used to enter Kana characters.
1
corresponds to
“ あ行 ”,
2
to “ か行 ” and so on. The characters appear as shown in the following table
each time the indicated key is pressed.
Example: The characters appear in the order of “
か
”, “
き
”, “
く
”, “
け
”, “
こ
”, “
か
”, “
き
”
and so on, each time you press the

key.
When the desired character appears, press the key of the character to enter next.
Switching Over the Character Type to Enter
On the character input screen, press
M
to display the
Character Type selection screen.
Use
a
to select a character type and press
c
(

).
Shifts to the previous character assigned to that same key (when the current character
has yet to be entered), or inputs a line break (if current character has been entered).
Switches to “ ゛ ” (hard sound symbol), “ ゜ ” (semi-hard sound symbol), Uppercase
letters, or Lowercase letters.
