Connection information
The transmission system VKS-2100S/V has been designed to transmit a video signal, an
audio signal and power via a coax cable. The system comprises a sender, a receiver and the
appropriate power supply unit.
Please connect the camera (or a video source) with the sender (BNC video input).
If an audio signal is to be transmitted, too, please connect the audio source to the audio input
(cinch jack).
If the camera is to be powered from remote, you may use the power from the DC OUT jack.
Please note: 12 V DC, max. 0.5 A.
Please connect the sender and the receiver by an appropriate coax cable (75 Ohm)
(LINK OUT
– LINK IN).
Regarding the receiver, please connect the monitor or the device which processes the video
signal, to the video output (BNC).
The audio signal may be taken from the audio output (cinch).
Connect he power supply unit (included in the delivery) to the sender (viewer).
Voltage should be set to 20 V DC at the power supply unit.
Depending on the length of the used coax cable, you may need to readjust the DC output
voltage of the power supply unit. The proper adjustment is indicated by the red LED at the
sender device. If the LED lights yellow, you have to increase the DC voltage of the power
supply unit which is connected to the receiver.
