PREPARATION 

 
POWER SOURCE 

This STEREO CD PLAYER operations on 6 “C” size (UM-2) batteries (Not included) or from an AC-DC 9V adaptor 
(Not included). 

 

A. BATTERY INSTALLATION 

1. 

Turn over the unit and remove the 

Battery Cover Screw (13) 

to open the 

Battery Cover (12)

2. 

Install 6 “C” (UM-2) size batteries into the compartment, according to the polarity diagram on the bottom of unit. 

3. 

Close the 

Battery Cover (12) 

and assemble the 

Battery Cover Screw (13)

                     

                              

 
To Install or Remove Batteries 

REMOVE: 

Turn screw counterclockwise to open. 

TIGHTEN:

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

Follow these precautions when using battery in this device: 

1. 

Use only the size and type of battery specified. 

2. 

 Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the battery 
compartment. Reversed battery may cause damage to the device. 

3. 

Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline, rechargeable and standard 
(carbon zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones. 

4. 

If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent damage 
or injury from possible battery leakage. 

5. 

Do not try to recharge battery that is not intended to be recharged they can overheat and 
rupture (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions). 

6. 

Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may leak or explode.  

 
 
B. AC OPERATION 

This unit may also be used with an AC adaptor (not included). When the AC adaptor is connected to the

, the batteries are automatically disconnected. Please make sure to use an AC adapter with a rating of 9

HAND MIC INSTALLATION

Insert the MIC Stand into the 

MIC slot (16)

2. 

Insert the Hand MIC into the MIC Stand as shown. 

3. 

Plug in MIC 1 into the 

MIC 1 Input Jack (9)

4. 

Plug in MIC 2 into the
