Using USB cable to charge (European Version)
Use USB cable to connect your radio to any power source with a
USB port (e.g.PC) to charge.
1. Plug the Micro USB end into the Micro USB socket of the radio.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into any power source with
USB port (e.g.PC).
Important:
The radio battery may drain instead of charge if radio is connected
to a PC that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, or to a
USB hub, or to a USB port on a keyboard.
Using the USB power adapter (Australian Version)
Use the USB power adapter to provide power to your radio and
charge the battery.
1. Plug the Micro USB end into the Micro USB socket of the radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.
Battery charging indicator
Please note that the battery charging status detection can only be
activated when the radio is in charging mode.
If batteries are already fully
charged, display is shown at right
and the battery charge indicator
LED shows steady green light.

During the charging process, if
a battery is detected as faulty/
damaged, a solid square will be
displayed under the corresponding
battery number (see picture right).
