CLEANING AND DISINFECTING THE CUTTING HEAD
- The cutting head can be cleaned to remove any residue of cut branches or leaves. To
do this, we recommend using a special spray recommended by your supplier or dealer.
- You can also disinfect the cutting head to avoid infection and disease. To do this, we
strongly advise against the use of corrosive agents that could damage the product:
contact the supplier or your dealer for more information.
CAUTION! WHEN THE UNIT IS IN OPERATION, ALWAYS KEEP FINGERS
AWAY FROM THE CUTTING HEAD.
PRODUCT STORAGE AND CLEANING
1.
Press the trigger and hold it down for a few seconds; then release it. The blades
will close and will not reopen.
2.
Disconnect the battery charger and remove the battery from its housing in the
scissor.
3.
Clean the scissor and its accessories with a dry cloth and return them to their
packaging.
USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SECATEURS
1.
Do not cut branches larger than the maximum diameter indicated in the data sheet
and on the product packaging; do not cut hard materials such as metals, stones or
any material other than wood. If the blades are worn or damaged, replace them
with new original replacement blades.
2.
Keep the secateurs clean by using a clean, dry cloth to clean the secateurs
themselves as well as the battery and charger. Do not use abrasive substances or
solvent-based products. If necessary, also use a small brush to remove dust and
debris from the blades and head.
3.
Do not immerse the shears, battery and charger in any liquid.
4.
Follow the instructions for use in this manual, and do not use the product if the
secateurs themselves, the battery or the charger are damaged.
5.
Do not use the secateurs if the blades do not open and close properly and if they
do not switch on and off properly. Contact your dealer or an authorised service
centre for the necessary support. It is very dangerous to use the scissor when it is
not working properly!
6.
Before cleaning the secateurs, replacing components or taking them back, ensure
that the switch is in the OFF position. This will help reduce the risk of the scissor
being inadvertently switched on.
7.
Ensure that the blades are closed after using the secateurs and before withdrawing
them. The scissors must be kept out of the reach of children. It is also forbidden
to use it by persons unfamiliar with its use and who have not first read the
instructions in the manual. It is very dangerous to use the scissor if you are not
familiar with its operation!
8.
The scissors must be used in accordance with the rules and instructions in this
manual, and must take into account the working environment and the type of
material to be cut. It is highly inadvisable and dangerous to use the scissors in any
other way than indicated in this manual.
9.
When you have finished using the shears, clean the blades by removing all grass
and plant material residue from both the through blade and the swing blade, then
