COFFEE MAKER
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet and allow the product to cool completely before
cleaning or storing.
•
The mug, mug lid, and filter basket may be placed on
the upper rack of a dishwasher for cleaning or hand
washed in warm, soapy water. The reusable filter must
be washed by hand.
•
NOTE: When washed in a dishwasher, the parts may
appear to fade. Restore by polishing them with a soft,
dry cloth..
•
Wipe the exterior surface of the coffee maker with a
soft, damp cloth. Do not use metal scouring pads or
abrasive cleaners.
•
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently please
descale the coffee maker. At least once a month if
you use hard water (over 14dH) or every two months if
you use soft or filtered water (up to 14dH). Use a water
and vinegar household cleaning solution or any liquid
descaling agent to prevent the buildup of scale. Let the
appliance complete two more cycles with fresh, cold
water to remove all vinegar cleaning solution. For a
liquid descaling agent, follow the instructions on the
package, but always run one cycle with fresh, cold
water.
