Keeping Your Cellular Connection
If your mobile device is running iOS 7 or higher, you can keep it connected to the
cellular data network using 3G/4G/LTE WHILE also being connected to the Wireless
Flash Drive directly.
1. Connect to your drive’s Wi-Fi network in your mobile device’s Wi-Fi Settings menu
2. Launch the app
3. Select Settings ->
Keep Cellular Connection
and turn it
On
(The app will save
your preference so you would need to set this setting only once.)
Turn this option on to continue receiving emails and maintain access to the internet
even when you are out of range of any Wi-Fi Internet access point.
To avoid data charges from your mobile carrier while at home/work or any other place
where Wi-Fi Internet access is available, make sure to also turn on
Internet
Connection
. (See step by step instructions in the previous section,
Using Internet
Connection.
) The app will always prioritize maintaining your device’s internet
connection via Wi-Fi Internet network (when these are available and set up) even
when
Keep Cellular Connection
is turned on.
Note
: When
Keep Cellular Connection
is turned on, data charges from your cellular
operator may apply.
Wi-Fi only iPad/iPad Mini/iPod touch will have this Settings option grayed out.

2. Battery medium: 2 black bars
3. Battery high:

When the drive is plugged in, it will show either:
1. Battery charging – animated green battery with 1->2->3 bars.
2. Battery fully charged – green battery with 3 steady bars
