Switch Operation
Before Operating
Step 1
Before operating the Mark VI Circuit-Switcher:
a . Check the internal decoupling mechanism
inside the Mark VI CS-1A Switch Operator
to verify that the selector handle is in the
“COUPLED” position . See Figure 9 .
b . Check that the manual operating handle is
in the storage position, and tagged or pad-
locked . See Figure 10 .
c . Check that the two-pole pull-out fuseholder
for the motor (and space heater, if fur-
nished) is inserted . See Figure 11 .
d . Check that the switch operator enclosure
door is tagged and padlocked in accor dance
with standard system operating
pro cedures .
