Installation in Windows

NB:
Do not connect the card reader to your
computer yet.
1. Start your computer in Windows.
2. Insert the enclosed CD-ROM.
3. Click
“Start”
, select
“Run”
and enter
the path
“D:\setup.exe”
(where “D” is
your CD-ROM drive). Click
“OK”
.
4. Click
“Restart”
. The computer will then
restart.
5. When the computer restarts, installation
will continue automatically. Click
“Next”
.
6. Windows prompts
“Please plug in the
reader…”
. Connect the card reader to
your computer’s USB port using the
supplied cable.
7. Windows will install the driver for the
card reader automatically. Click
“OK”
.
8. Select
“Yes, I want to restart my
computer now”
. Click
“Finish”
.
9. The computer will then restart.
The card reader is now installed and ready
for use.

Me/XP
1. Connect the card reader to your com-
puter’s USB port using the supplied
cable.
2. Windows installs the necessary drivers
automatically.
The card reader is now installed and ready
for use.
Using the card reader
Once you have installed your card reader,
several
“Removable drives”
will appear in
“My Computer”
. Double-clicking these
drives gives you access to the files on the
memory cards. This allows you to save,
copy, create, delete and read files on the
memory cards exactly the same way you
would on a normal hard disk.
Troubleshooting
•
If your computer does not detect the
card reader, you need to check that the
USB port is enabled. You can also try
connecting the card reader through
another USB port.
