CLEANING THE CONTROL PROBE
• If cleaning is necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth.
• Do not immerse the control probe in water or any other liquid.
• Store the probe carefully in a safe place. Do not knock or drop it as this can damage
the probe.
PLATE AND DRIP TRAY CLEANING
• The element in the hot plate is totally sealed, so it is safe to fully immerse in water.
Wash the hot plate and the drip tray in warm soap water using a mild household
detergent and a soft washing sponge. A bottle brush may be used to clean between
the hot plate heating bars.
STORAGE
• Always dry before storing. Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned.
• Store on a flat surface on your bench top or cupboard.
Important: before inserting the control probe in its socket, ensure that the interior of
the socket is fully dry. To do this, wipe interior of socket with a dry cloth or shake out the
excess of water vigorously.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes
to repair or replace any parts to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of
our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used
in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired
or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guar-
antee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic
items, bulbs, etc. If the product does not work and it is the reason for returning it and it is
within the guarantee period, please also show the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
