4-1. How to recover the device
When file download and screen display do not work properly.
2. When the fault occurs in screen display.
1) Copy the latest font file[ypw3font.sys] on to the removable disk.
2) When you turn the power on after removing the USB, the update will be progressed.
3. When, although the device is represented as a Removable Disk in the Explorer, you cannot format or copy a file to the removable disk,
(1) Connect to the removable disk, and then run the LLF program.
(2) Select Low Level Formatting(Full) and click 'OK'.
(3) Required time for format operation is determined
depending on the size of the memory.
Approximate 80 seconds are required for 256MB.
(For 512MB, approximate 160 seconds will be required.)
(4) After LLF is complete, follow the descriptions of the Step 5
given below.
4. When you cannot connect the player to the PC, the screen is broken, and black screen
appears.You have to format the memory physically.
If you cannot connect the player as a removable disk, run LLF as described in the above Step 3.
(1) Connect TP8~TP9 and the connect the power cord.
(2) By connecting the USB cable, you can supply the power and view the LLF progress.
(3) While the LLF is in progress, nothing will appear in the Explorer.
(4) On the LCD, "USB transferring" message appears.
(5) When the LLF is complete, the message changes to "USB Connected",
and the player appears on the Explorer as a Removable Disk.
Restoring SET Assembly Status
1. Run Format from the system menu.
(1) Setting ‘ Format from the menu.

If you cannot make a USB connection, disassem
ble the unit and follow the procedures of Restoring
PCB status.
