Carefully check the correct
orientation of the positive and
negative terminals of the batteries.

Open the cover of the battery
compartment.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Remove the batteries if they will not be used for a long time.
• Standard batteries cannot be recharged.
• Remove the batteries when you use an AC adaptor.
Warning
• Replace the batteries if the remaining battery power indicator “ ” flashes.
• When the radio function is enabled, the remaining battery power will indicate “ ”.
• Even though the remaining battery power indicator “ ” may be flashing,
if the batteries have already expired, the LCD will not be lit.
