Dispenser
The dispenser can be set to dispense liquid softener or liquid detergent. You must run the
Pump Clean
function before you switch between the softener and detergent.
1.
Tap and hold for 3 seconds.
2.
Turn the
Navigation dial
to select
Dispenser
, and then tap .
3.
Tap to select
Softener
or
Detergent
.

The default setting is
Softener
, and you can change it to
Detergent
.
NOTE
• If you have set the dispenser to dispense detergent, the washing machine cannot dispense the
softener during the wash cycle. To use softener, put it into the drum or the
manual detergent
compartment (A)
after the cycle is complete, and then run the
Rinse+Spin
cycle.
• If you have set the dispenser to dispense detergent, you must put special detergent (for wool, baby
clothes, etc.) into the drum or the
manual detergent compartment (A)
to use the special detergent.
• When both dispensers are set to dispense the detergent, the washing machine consumes the detergent
in dispenser first.
Pump Clean
You can use this function to clean detergent or softener residue buildup in the dispenser pump. Use this
function after you empty and clean the dispenser.
1.
Tap and hold for 3 seconds.
2.
Fill the water up to the
MAX
line.
3.
Turn the
Navigation dial
to select
Pump Clean
, and then tap .
4.
Tap to select the desired dispenser pump(s) you want to clean.

.
5.
Tap to start cleaning.

The water will drain out from the dispenser.
NOTE
• Use this function before you change the type of cleaning agent (detergent or softener) used in the
dispenser.
• You can use this function to clean detergent or softener residue buildup in the dispenser pump.
• Empty and clean the dispenser before using this function. Otherwise, bubbles may generate inside the
drum.
