If you want to prewash, add prewash

detergent to the prewash compartment
as instructed or recommended by the
manufacturer.

NOTE

If you use a high efficiency (HE
detergent, apply 1/3 of the
recommended amount to the
prewash compartment and 2/3 of the
recommended amount to the main-
wash compartment.

Close the detergent drawer.
