If service is requested when it is not a case of
failure, the service charge will be requested,
therefore, read the operation manual carefully.

Always confirm these before

reporting the failure.

Confirm whether the power

supply plug of the charger has
been inserted to the outlet.

Take away obstacles within

approx. 1 m in the front of and
approx. 0.5 m to the left and right
side of the charger.

▶

When foreign material is existed at

the terminal of the charger, wipe
it off with dry towel.

▶

Has the i-keeper been installed

near to the charger?

▶

Is the direction of distance

detection sensor being faced to
the charger?

The robotic vacuum

cleaner can’t find the

charger.

▶

Move the i-keeper to other

place so that automatic
charging can be accomplished.

▶

Change the installing direction of

the i-keeper or perform the setting
with an appropriate distance.

▶

Confirm whether the entry

prevention tape has been
installed approx. 5 cm in front
of the no entry area.

Entry is being conducted

even if the entry prevention

tape has been installed.

(Exclusive use for

VCRA84V* SERIES)

Attach the entry prevention

tape approx. 5 cm in front of
the no entry area.

When the dry cell of the

ikeeper is discharged, it will
not be activated.

▶

Has the doorkeeper (virtual

door) mode been established?

Has the mode lamp been

turned off continuously?

The cleaner still

performs the entering

even if the ikeeper

has been installed.

Exchange the dry cell. (2 units of

D type (LR20) alkaline dry cell)

Change to the fence (virtual

wall) mode.

▶

After confirming whether it is in

the power off (OFF) state, perform
the setting to the desired mode.

▶

Is the dry cell being used

manganese dry cell?

The life of the

i-keeper’s dry cell is

too short.

Replace it with the alkaline

dry cell. (2 units of D type
(LR20) alkaline dry cell)

Has the robotic vacuum

cleaner under the charging
been pressed down or
separated?

window in such a way
