Section 2: Understanding Your Phone

2Q: Advanced HotSync 151

Turn on your phone. Slide your phone into the cradle until a click is
heard and the charging light is displayed.

Tap the Application Launcher icon.

Press the HotSync button on the desktop holder.

Note:

Since this is the first HotSync operation, you must enter your user

information.

Note:

If the phone has been password protected, you will be prompted to

enter you password before being able to HotSync. The password is usually
the last four digits of your phone number, the last four of your Social
security number, or “0000”.

The New User dialog box is displayed. Select

New

and enter a

Username.

Click

to start the synchronization.

A message is displayed indicating that the process is complete.
