4.1.1. Wizard
Administrator may register digital video device(s) (IP video server and network camera) in the program by going
through the entire process step by step in the ‘Wizard’ menu.
The ‘Wizard’ menu includes both the device registration and camera assignment steps. Once the entire process
is done, cameras appear in a recording status panel on the program.
Registration Process
1. Select [Setup] – [Wizard] menu. Wizard window appears.
2. Enter values and click ‘Next button. The items in bold: device name, model type, firmware version,
connection type, IP address (or Mac Address), port number, user ID and password are required
information.
3. Select a camera on the list and click ‘Assign’ button. ‘Assign Camera’ window appears.
4. Name the channel and assign a camera. Enter camera name and description of the Network Recorder
in the upper fields and assign camera or device in the lower fields. Then, click ‘OK’ button. With
‘Preview’ button, user may confirm the assigned channel with live video.
