Start Screen
The Start screen is the starting point for accessing all of the device’s features.
Move and Remove an Item
●
To move an item, tap and hold an app on the Start screen, and then
drag it to a new location.
●
To remove an item, tap and hold the app, and then drag it to the
Recycle Bin.
Install an Optional microSD or microSDHC Card (Not Included)
1.
Insert the card tray removal tool that came
with your tablet into the hole next to the
microSD
™
card slot.
2. Remove the tray and place the microSD
card on the side of the tray marked
microSD, with the gold contacts
facing down.
3. Replace the microSD card tray into the
card slot.
Security
Pressing the Power key turns off the screen and locks it. The screen turns off and
automatically locks if the device is not used for a specified period of time.
Turn Your Device On and Off
◆ Press and hold the
Power/Lock
key to turn
On
or
Off
.
◆ To unlock the screen, press the
Power/Lock
key and drag the locked screen
upward.
You can change the way that you lock the screen to prevent others from accessing
your personal information.
◆ On the taskbar, tap
Start
>
Settings
>
Accounts
>
Sign-in options
, and
then select a screen lock method. The device requires an unlock code
whenever unlocking it.
