To switch to Samsung Dex mode directly when connecting the Keyboard Cover, launch the

Settings

app, tap

Book Cover Keyboard is connected

switch to activate it.

Position the tablet’s rear camera to insert it into the rear camera hole and put the tablet in
the stand.
