Using a magnifier
Activate a magnifier to zoom in on the screen to view a larger version of the content.
Launch the
Settings
app, tap
Accessibility
→
Visibility enhancements
→
Magnifier
window
→
Magnifier window shortcut
, and then tap the switch to activate it. Then tick
the actions to use to start using the magnifier directly. When you perform the action, the
magnifier will appear on the screen.
Drag the edge of the magnifier frame to move the magnifier to where you want to zoom in
on the screen.
Magnifying the screen
Magnify the screen and zoom in on a specific area.
Launch the
Settings
app, tap
Accessibility

Visibility enhancements
→
Magnification
→
Magnification shortcut
, and then tap the switch to activate it. Then tick the actions to use to
start using this feature directly.
•
Tap Accessibility button
: Zoom in by tapping on the navigation bar, and then tapping
where you want to magnify the screen. To temporarily magnify the screen, tap and hold
where you want to magnify the screen.

Press Side and Volume up keys
: Zoom in by pressing the Side key and the Volume
Up key simultaneously, and then tapping where you want to magnify the screen. To
temporarily magnify the screen, tap and hold where you want to magnify the screen.
•
Press and hold Volume up and down keys for 3 seconds
: Zoom in by pressing and
holding the Volume Up key and the Volume Down key simultaneously for 3 seconds, and
then tapping where you want to magnify the screen. To temporarily magnify the screen,
tap and hold where you want to magnify the screen.
•
Triple-tap screen
: Zoom in by tapping the screen three times. To temporarily magnify the
screen, tap the screen three times and hold.
To explore the screen, drag two fingers across the magnified screen.
To adjust zoom ratio, pinch two fingers on the magnified screen or spread them apart.

Keyboards and the navigation bar on the screen cannot be magnified.
•
When this feature is activated, the performance of some apps may be affected.
