Create message
(Menu 5.1)
Use this menu to create and send messages.
Text message
(Menu 5.1.1)
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send or
receive text messages that may include simple
pictures, animated images, and melodies.
Creating and sending an SMS message
1. Enter your message and press [ ].
2. Enter a destination number.
To send the message to more than one recipient,
fill in additional destination fields.
3. Press [ ] to send the message.
Using options while composing an SMS message
While composing a message, press < Options > to
access the following options:
•
Save and send : save the message in Outbox and
then send it.
• Send only : just send the message.
• Insert : add a text template, Phonebook entry, or
bookmark.
• Add image / Add animation / Add melody : attach
a simple image, an animated image, or a melody.
• Attach : add a name card or calendar data as a
data format attachment.
• Save to : save the message in another folder.
• Select language : change the language to be used
in T9 input mode.
• Text style : change the text attributes.
• Input method : change the text input mode.
• The maximum number of characters allowed in
a message varies by service provider. If your
message exceeds the maximum number of
characters, the phone will split the message.
• You can use various options by pressing
< Options >. next section
