Using T9 Mode

Section 5

Changing the Text Input Mode

When you are in a field that allows characters to be
entered, you will notice the text input mode indicator on
the display.

Example:

Writing a text message.

To select T9 mode, press the

key until

displays.

To select Alphabet mode, press the

key until

displays.

To select Number mode, press the

key until

displays.

To select Symbol mode, press the

key until

Using T9 Mode

T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to key
in any character using single keystrokes. This text input
mode is based on a built-in dictionary.
