Section 11: Changing Your Settings
This section explains the sound and phone settings for your phone.
It includes such settings as: display, security, memory, and any
other settings associated with your phone.
Personalize your Phone
You can customize various phone settings such as sounds,
the display, phone settings, messaging key, memory,
language, greeting message, and time and date.
From Home screen, press

Sound profiles
You can choose and customize sound settings as part of
sound profile.
Normal
Normal profile includes audible alerts and tones for incoming
calls and messages, key presses, and powering on and off.

To customize the Normal profile settings, highlight

Press the Navigation key left or right to select a new
tab.
• Incoming call
: highlight a setting and press
Edit
to
make a selection.

Call alert type
: select an alert type for incoming calls, from
Melody, Vibration, Vibration then melody, or Vibration and
melody.

Ringtone
: select a ringtone for incoming calls or from one of
the listed folders.

Ringtone volume
: choose a volume level between 1 and 7 for
incoming call alerts.
• New messages
: highlight a setting and press

Message alert type
: select an alert type for new messages,
from Melody, Vibration, Vibration and melody, or Mute.
