Display Layout

The display comprises three areas.

Signal strength

: shows the received

signal strength. The greater the number
of bars, the better the signal strength.

Area

Description

First line

Displays various icons (see page 13).

Middle

Display messages, instructions and any

lines

information that you enter (number to
be dialled, for example).

Last line

With the flip cover open, shows the
functions assigned to the two soft keys.

With the flip cover closed, shows
various types of information, such as
the keypad lock icon ( ), answerphone,
call diverting options or advice of
charge information. This information
varies, depending on your SIM card,
service provider or current context.
