PIN code
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) code
protects your SIM card against unauthorised use. The
PIN code is usually supplied with the SIM card.
When the PIN code request is enabled (
5-3-1
), the
code is needed each time the phone is switched on.
If you key in an incorrect PIN code three times in
succession, key in the PUK code and press
Ok
. Key in
a new PIN code and press
Ok
. Key in the new code
again and press
Ok
.
PIN2 code
The PIN2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is
re q u i red to access some functions, such as charg i n g
unit counters. These functions are only available if
s u p p o rted by your SIM card .
If you key in an incorrect PIN2 code three times in
succession, key in the PUK2 code and press
Ok

PUK code
The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is re q u i re d
to change a blocked PIN code. The PUK code may be
supplied with the SIM card. If not, contact your local
s e rvice provider for the code.
If you key in an incorrect PUK code ten times in
succession, the SIM card cannot be used anymore.
Contact your service provider for a new card.
You cannot change the PUK code. If you lose the
code, contact your service provider.
PUK2 code
The PUK2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is
re q u i red to change a blocked PIN2 code.
If you key in an incorrect PUK2 code ten times in
succession, you cannot use the functions requiring
the PIN2 code. Contact your service provider for a
new card.
You cannot change the PUK2 code. If you lose the
code, contact your service provider.
Barring Password
The 4-digit barring password is re q u i red when you use
the Call Barring function. You obtain the password
f rom your service provider when you subscribe to this
function.
