Typing a word using the linguistic dictionary
(Forward prediction)
1. Enter the first character of the word you want.
2. You will see a word starting with the first
character you enter in the word prediction box
at the bottom of the display.
3. If that word is correct, go to step 4.
Alternatively, press the Up or Down key to
search the word you want to enter.
4. Press the key to select it.
Example: To enter ( + + + )
using the linguistic dictionary, press the
1, 2, 9, (Halant),
and 4 keys. Then,
you will see the desired word in
the word prediction box. Press the key
to select the word.
Example: To enter ( + + + + )
using the linguistic dictionary, press the
4, 3, 9, (Halant),
and 1 keys. Then,
you will see the desired word in the
word prediction box. Press the key to
select the word.
Example: To enter ( + + + ) using
the linguistic dictionary, press the 7 and
1 keys. Then, you will see the desired
word
in the word prediction box.
Press the key to select the word.
Otherwise, you can type it by pressing
the 7, 1, 9, 4, 6, 3, 9, and 4 keys.

Inserting a space
To insert a space between words, press the key.
Entering a Indian number directly
To enter a Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, or Bengali number,
press and hold the number key in each Indian
mode.
Scrolling
To move the cursor to the left or right within the
text, press the Left or Right key.
Clearing characters and words
To clear the character to the left of the cursor, press
the C key. You can clear all of the letters on the
display by pressing and holding the C key.
Using T9 mode
T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to
key in any character using single keystrokes. This
text input mode is based on a built-in dictionary.
Entering a word in T9 mode
1. When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word
by pressing the 2 to 9 keys. Press each key only
once for each letter.
The word that you are typing appears on the
display. It may change with each key that you
press.
