This network service allows you to prevent your phone
number from being displayed on the phone of the
person being called. However, some networks do not
allow the user to change this setting.
•
Default
: use the default setting provided by the
network.
•
Hide
number
: ensure your number does not
display on the other person’s phone.
•
Send
number
: send your number each time you
make a call.
Voice mail server
(Menu 9.5.6)
Use this menu to store the number of the voicemail
server and access your voicemails.
•
Connect to voice server
: connect to the
voicemail server to allow you to listen to your
messages. You can also connect to the voicemail
server by pressing and holding [
1
] in Idle mode.
•
Voice server number
: enter the voicemail server
number.
Closed user group
(Menu 9.5.7)
Use this menu to set incoming and outgoing calls to be
restricted to a selected user group. For details about
how to create a closed user group, contact your
service provider.
•
Index list
: add, delete, or activate CUG index
numbers. Press <
Options
> to access the options
for setting up an index list.
•
Outside access
: enable calls to numbers other
than those in the Closed user group. This feature
depends on the nature of your CUG subscription.
•
Default group
: enable the default CUG, if you
have set one with your service provider. When
making a call, you are given the option of using
your default CUG, instead of selecting one from the
list.
•
Deactivate
: deactivate the CUG function, if the
default group is enabled or a CUG index is
selected.
You must enter the voicemail server number before
you can access your voicemails. Your service
provider can give the voicemail server number.
