Dictionary
(Menu 7.8)
Your phone provides you with an English-Chinese or
Chinese-English dictionary.
Each dictionary supports both simplified Chinese
and traditional Chinese.
Note
: You can quickly open the
Dictionary
screen by
tapping
in Idle mode.
To look for a word from the dictionary:
1. Select
Input
.
2. Enter the Chinese or English word you want to
look up.
For further details about how to enter
characters, see page 48.
3. Select
OK
.
The displays shows the pronunciation of the
associated word you entered and the
corresponding English or Chinese words.
If you entered an English word, you can view the
word in simplified Chinese or traditional Chinese
by tapping
T
or
S
on the right of the input field.
4. To look up another word, repeat from step 1.
