Voice Mail Notification
There are several ways your phone alerts you of a new message:

By displaying a message on the screen.
•
By sounding the assigned ringer type.
•
By displaying
at the top of your screen.
New Voice Mail Message Alerts
When you receive a new voice message, your phone alerts you and
prompts you to call to check your voice mail.
To call your voice mail immediately after a message is received:
1.
Press the
key to listen to the message.
2.
Press the
key to return to the Idle screen.
Tip:
You can also press and hold
to check your voice mail.
To dial your Voice Mail:

Press the left soft key

, followed by

Important
:
When you are roaming off the network, you may not
receive notification of new voice mail messages. It is recommended
that you periodically check your voice mail by dialing 1 + area code +
your Phone Number. You will be charged roaming rates when
accessing voice mail while roaming off the network.
Note
:
Your phone accepts messages even when it is turned off.
However, you are notified of new messages only when your phone is
turned on and you are in a Service Area.
