Lock Mode
Locking the phone restricts outgoing calls except emergency
numbers.
To make an outgoing call in Lock mode:
• To call an emergency number, enter the number and then
press
.
• To place normal outgoing calls, press
to display the
Lock Code screen, and then enter the lock code. When the
Standby screen is displayed, enter the phone number, and
then press
.
Lock Code Setting
The default lock code for your phone is 0000 or the last four
digits of your phone number, depending on activation. You can
enter a personal lock code, and then change the lock code as
often as you like.
To enter a new lock code:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.
2. Press
for Security.
3. Press
for Lock Code.
4. Enter a new, four-digit lock code by pressing the desired
digit keys.
5. Press
to save the new lock code.
Security Menu
Your phone provides many security options, including a user-
programmable lock code, and call restriction features.
To access the Security menu in Standby mode, press
,
. Press the associated digit key to acces one
of the security options.
You must enter the four digit lock code to see any options in
this menu. The default lock code is 0000 or the last four digits
of your phone number.
