NAM Selection
When phone number is activated, the NAM (Number
Assignment Module) enables you to subscribe to one
or more service networks. The NAM selection feature
allows you to choose which network you currently
desire to use.
To set NAM Selection:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for
Setup.
3. Press
for Set NAM.
4. Select NAM-1 or NAM-2 by pressing the scroll keys.
5. Press
to save the setting.
System Selection
The system selection feature of your phone enables
you to choose which of the system providers you will
use.
To select system:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for
Setup.
3. Press
for System Selection.
4. Press the scroll keys to select the desired system
mode. Choices are Standard, Home Only, A Only,
and B Only.
5.When the desired option displays, press
to
save the selection.

Automatic Hyphenation
Automatic Hyphenation hyphenates numbers as follows:
• 123-456-7890
Digits following a pause are not hyphenated.
Any Key Answer
Activate Any Key Answer to answer incoming calls by
pressing any key on the keypad, except
,
and
(volume keys).
Tone Length
Some phone systems can recognize only longer tones.
This means you may have to change the Tone Length
to LONG, for some calls. Normally the Tone Length
should be set to SHORT.
Setting Current Time
You can set the time and date on your phone.
To set the time:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for
Setup.
3. Press for
Set
Time.
4. Press or to
choose
AM
or
PM.
Press
to save. The current time (if set)
displays.
5. Enter the month, day, hour, and minute using two
digits for each field. Enter four digits for the year.
If you don’t input the time or input an invalid
time, the message “Invalid Time” displays.
6. Press
to set the time.
