7: Alert. Your Sprint PCS Phone comes with options that keep
you aware of what’s going on.

1: Minute Beep This option is like a minute minder that beeps
ten seconds before the end of each minute
during a call. Settings are “ON” and “OFF.”
The default setting is “OFF.”

2: Service When this option is “ON,” your phone will
sound a tone when the status of your service
changes. The default setting is “OFF.”

8: Setup. The following features make your phone even easier
to use.

1: Auto Retry This programs the phone to automatically
redial a number when the system is busy.
(Auto Retry doesn’t apply if the number you
are calling is busy.) Possible settings are “ON”
and “OFF.” The default setting is “ON.”

2: Any Key Ans When this setting is “ON,” you can press any key
to answer incoming calls (except ,
or the volume keys). Possible settings
are “ON” and “OFF.” The default setting is “OFF.”

3: Tone Length You can set the length of the tone that sounds
when you press a key. Your options are
“SHORT” and “LONG.” The key beep length
may be important if you use your phone to
pick up messages from your home answering
machine or to access automated phone
