Preparation

Battery Installation for the Remote Control

You need to insert or replace the lithium battery when :

You purchase the camcorder.

The remote control doesn’t work.

Ensure that you insert the lithium cell correctly,
following the + and – markings.

Be careful not to reverse the polarity of the battery.

Using the Remocon Strap

The Remote comes with a convenient strap.

Attaching the Remote Control

✤

You can attach the Remote Control to the camcorder so it is not
misplaced.

Note

When the AC power adapter is connected to
the camcorder, do not attach the Remote Control to
the camcorder.

■

When the Remote Control is attached the camcorder,
do not pick up the camcorder from the Remocon Strap.
