Maintenance
Routine maintenance
You can do some of the periodic maintenance for your unit yourself.This
includes cleaning the permanent air filters, unit cabinet, condenser coil and
conducting a general unit inspection on a regular basis.
Cleaning the air filter

Remove the air filter.
Unscrew the screws and remove the plate.
Turn the Clasp of air filter from horizontal to vertical.
Turn the Filter lock from horizontal to vertical.

Clean the air filter.
Vacuum cleaner or pure water may be used to clean the air filter.
If the dust accumulation is too heavy, please use soft brush and mild detergent
to clean it and dry out in cool place.
The air-in side should face up when using vacuum cleaner.
The air-in side should face down when using water.
CAUTION
Do not expose the air filter to direct sunlight or fire.

Reinstall the air filter.

Condenser coil
Unfiltered air circulates through the unit’s condenser coil and it causes the
coil’s surface to become clogged with dust, dirt, etc.
To clean the coil, vertically (i.e., with the fins) stroke the coil surface with a
soft-bristled brush. Keep all vegetation away from the condenser coil area.
