4. Troubleshooting

This document can not be used without Samsung’s authorization.

Oven parts

Oven temperature rises too slow or too fast [Gas malfunction]

Oven

* Make sure the gas supply valve  

to the range is fully opened .

* Check the GPR to make sure gas  

is flowing through it.

* Are the lower and upper oven burner 

air shutters adjusted properly?

* Check for dirty and/or proper 

oven burner orifices.

* Check for crimped or broken gas lines 

to the lower or upper oven burner .

* Replace the faulty lower and/or 

upper oven burner .

* Replace the faulty lower and/or 

upper oven burner .

* Replace the damage gas line .

* Clean and/or replace the lower 

and upper oven burner orifices.

* Adjust the burner air 

 shutter setting .

* Replace the GPR .

* Is the dual-purpose orifice in the 

GPR installed for the proper  

type of gas .

* Is the GPR shut-off lever in the 

open position

* Fully open the gas supply valve .
