USING THE KITCHEN TIMER
You can use the
Kitchen Timer
button.
1.
Press the
Kitchen Timer
button to enter the timer setting.
2.
Using the
Number
buttons to set the time period.
3.
Press Start to begin Kitchen Timer.
The display counts down and beeps when the time has
elapsed.
The microwave does not turn on when the Kitchen timer is used.
SAFETY-LOCKING YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN
Your microwave oven is fitted with a special Child Safety programme, which enables the oven
to be “locked” so that children or anyone unfamiliar with it cannot operate it accidentally.
1.
Press the
Stop/Cancel
button for 3 seconds.
Result:
•
The oven is locked (no functionscan be selected).
• The display shows “Loc” when you press any
button.
2.
To unlock the oven, press the
Stop/Cancel
button again for
3 seconds.
Result:
The oven can be used normally.

To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the food,
without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used.
Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked
microwave-safe, you do not need to worry.
The following table lists various types of cookware and indicates whether and how they
should be used in a microwave oven.
