Follow the Tutorial
When you power on your device the first time, a tutorial
will launch and take you through a brief setup program.
1.
Remove the stylus from the right side of the device
and tap the Windows screen.
2.
Follow the instructions to align your touch screen and
set up an optional device password.
3.
After setup, you will see the Today screen. For
additional setup options, including setting the date
and time, setting up an email account, setting a ring
tone, and more, tap the
getting started
menu on the
Today screen.
Enable Data Services
1.
Press and tap
Settings
>
System
>
EVDO Data
.
2.
Touch
Menu
(right softkey) >
Enable EVDO Data
. (If
the option appears as
Disable EVDO Data
, your data
services are already enabled.)
3.
Touch
Menu
(right softkey) >
Update Data Profile
.
When finished, the device will display your status as
“EVDO Data Enabled” and your user name will appear.
