Camera Settings

to configure settings for
Camera. Available options vary depending on the
shooting mode used.
•
Edit shortcuts
: Select which options you want
to display as a quick setting.
•
GPS tag
: Attach a GPS location tag to the
picture.
•
Shooting mode
: Choose a mode.
•
Effects
: Add special graphical effects.
•
Scene mode
: Choose a mode that represents
the lighting you are in to help adjust the color.
•
Brightness
: Manually adjust the brightness.
•
Timer
: Take time-delayed pictures or videos.
•
Resolution
: Select a resolution. Use higher
resolution for higher quality. Higher resolution
pictures take up more memory.

White balance
: Select an appropriate white
balance, so images have a true-to-life color
range. The settings are designed for specific
lighting situations. These settings are similar to
the heat range for white-balance exposure in
professional cameras.

Metering
: Select a metering method. This
determines how light values are calculated.
Center-weighted measures background light
in the center of the scene. Spot measures
the light value at a specific location. Matrix
averages the entire scene.

Guidelines
: Display viewfinder grid lines to
help composition when selecting subjects.
•
Contextual filename
: Allow the device to
create filenames based on the context of the
photo. (Can only be used when Location tags
is enabled.)

Image quality
: Change the image quality level.
•
Storage
: Select the location for storage.
•
Reset
: Reset the camera settings.
