Enter text using the QWERTY keyboard

When you slide open the device, you can use the QWERTY
keyboard. Select the keys as necessary to enter your text.
Use the following features with the QWERTY keyboard:
Press [

] to change case.

] to enter characters on the upper half of the
keys.
Press [

] to bring up a character picker for
miscellaneous symbols.
Press an appropriate key to enter a character, number,

and symbol.

Enter text by voice; This icon is available only
when you activate the voice input feature
for the Samsung keypad.
This feature may be unavailable
depending on the selected input
language.

Start a new line.

Access the keypad settings; Change the
keyboard type (tap and hold).

Insert a space; Insert a full stop (double-tap);
Change the input language (tap and hold,
and then scroll left or right).
