How to Enter Descriptors in Program Mode

The ER-550 allows you to program unique descriptors for:



Departments and PLUs



Function keys



Clerks



Groups



The Logo Message

Descriptors are programmed using the numeric keys. Each numeric key on the amount key pad has
letters or another function printed under the numeral. The

key is labeled with "other",

with

"caps",

with "double"; and the decimal key is labeled with "space".
