You can independently lock the ratings. The locked ratings are
indicated by the symbol ( ). To unlock a locked rating, press the

ENTER

button again.

Parental restriction levels differ depending on the broadcasting
station.
The rating titles (For example : Humor level..etc) and values
(For example : DH,MH..etc) are changed depending on the
downloaded information.
Generally, the Digital Broadcast parental lock system uses the
U.S. or Canadian Rating region Table (RRT). It is same as ‘V-Chip’
system for Analog Broadcasts.

Changing the Password

The “Enter the password” message will be displayed.

Enter the 4-digit password using the 0 to 9 buttons on the remote control.

The “Con

rm the password” message will be displayed.

Enter your password again using the 0 to 9 buttons on the remote control.

If you forgot your password, remove the disc. Press the

CH ( /

)

buttons on the front panel of the DVD Recorder simultaneously for
5 seconds or more when the power is on. All settings including the
password will revert to the factory settings.

EPG-Electronic Program Guide

The electronic program guide gives you information on available
programs.
