Using the computer
The appearance and color of the keyboard may differ depending on the model.
Using a wired keyboard and mouse
(Optional)
Windows keys
Show the Windows
start menu.
Application key
Performs the right-
clicking function of the
mouse.
Directional keys
Moves the cursor up,
down, left or right.
Numeric keys
If the Num Lock key is pressed, the
Num Lock lamp is turned on and the
numeric keys are enabled.
Utility keys
Move the cursor to the previous
or next page or to the beginning
or end of a line to enable deleting,
inserting and modifying the letters.
Lamps
Indicates that the Num Lock,
Caps Lock or Scroll Lock keys
are set or not.
Function keys
Execute various program functions. The
roles of the buttons differ depending
on the application that is running.
Power key
This button is used to turn
the computer on and off.
Volume keys
These buttons are used to
turn the sound on or off
and control the volume.
