1. Motor Condition Inspection before Changing Motors
1) Take out the motor connector of the outdoor unit, and measure the resistance of each phase.

Faulty : Short (below 4Ω), Open (Cannot be measured)
2) Check Motor Sensor (hall sensor)
With the motor/motor sensor connector connected to the BLDC drive PBA, input the power and forcefully rotate the fan by hand to check the
voltage of the sensor connector terminal.
Normal : Voltage is moving up and down by 0~5V for each relation of Yellow-Black, Blue-Black and Orange-Black.
Faulty : Maintain constant voltage (5V or 0V)
3) Motor is normal if the motor resistance and motor sensor is normal. Therefore, change BLDC Drive PBA.
4) Change the motor if the motor still does not drive after changing the BLDC drive (cause unknown).
