SAFETY-LOCKING YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN
Your microwave oven is fitted with a special Child Safety programme, which enables
the oven to be “locked” so that children or anyone unfamiliar with it cannot operate it
accidentally.
1.
Press the hidden button (The

” button) for 3 seconds.
Result:
• The oven is locked (no functionscan be
selected).

To unlock the oven, repeat step 1 above.
Result:
The oven can be used normally.
SWITCHING THE WEIGHT UNIT
The first time you plug the power cord into an outlet, or after there has been an
interruption in power, the display shows “
” At this point, you can select the
weight system for the display. You can choose between pounds (LBS) or kilograms (GR).
To do so,

Press the

” button immediately after plugging in
your microwave.
Result:
•
The display shows “L”.
If the display does not shows “Gr”, you will need to unplug
the microwave and then plug it in again in order to change
to the weight selection.

Press the

” button repeatedly to select the
weight system you wish to use:
When you have selected the weight system you want to use,
press the
STOP/CANCEL
button to end this procedure.

To cook food in the microwave oven, the microwaves must be able to penetrate the food,
without being reflected or absorbed by the dish used.
Care must therefore be taken when choosing the cookware. If the cookware is marked
microwave-safe, you do not need to worry.
The following table lists various types of cookware and indicates whether and how they
should be used in a microwave oven.
