Options During a Call
Your phone provides a number of control functions that you can use during
a call.
Adjusting the Call Volume
To adjust the earpiece volume during a call, use the Volume keys on the
left side of the phone. Press the Up key to increase the volume level and
the Down key to decrease the volume level.
In Idle mode, the volume keys can be used to adjust the ringer volume.
In-Call Options
During an active call there are several functions available by touching a
corresponding onscreen button.
Speaker On/Off:
Routes the phone’s audio through either the speaker
or the earpiece.
•Slide Speaker to
On
to route the audio through the speaker. (You can
adjust the speaker volume using the volume keys.)
•Slide Speaker to
Off
to use the phone’s earpiece.
Mute/Unmute: T
urns the onboard microphone on and off.
•Touch
Mute
to mute the microphone.
•Touch
Unmute
to turn the microphone on.
Hold/Resume
: Places the current active call on hold.
•Touch
Hold
to place the call on hold.
•Touch
Resume
to return to the call.
Dial
: Displays the onscreen keypad, where you can choose to Save the
entered number to Contacts, Send a new text message, or initiate a new
call.
Contacts:
Displays your current Contacts entries.
