doesn't open fully
Bonnet faulty
Replace bonnet
Medium escapes from the
valve spindle* (underneath
handwheel)
Gland packing faulty
Replace bonnet
Valve leaks between
bonnet and valve body
Bonnet loose
Retighten bonnet retaining nut
flat sealing faulty
Check gasket and the respective
sealing surfaces
for damage and replace parts if
necessary
