Decommissioning

To decommission the regulator for service 
work or disassembly, proceed as follows:
1.  Close the shut-off valve (1 and 6) on the 

downstream and upstream side of the 
regulator.

2.  Close any shut-off valve installed on the 

downstream and upstream side of the 
sensor if a thermowell is not used.

3.  Completely drain the pipelines and regu-

lator.

4. 

Depressurize the plant.

5.  If necessary, allow the pipeline and reg-

ulator components to cool down or warm 
up to the ambient temperature.
