Servicing
19. Screw the valve bonnet (7) into the actu-
ator base until it reaches the metal stop.
Observe tightening torques.
20. Carefully place the actuator, valve bon-
net (7), flange (14) and plug with plug
stem (3) onto the body (1).
Make sure that the marking on the valve
bonnet are aligned with the front of the
valve (see Fig. 9-2).
Make sure that the gasket (13) is proper-
ly seated in the body.
21. Apply a suitable lubricant to the screws
(10).
22. Firmly press the plug (3) into the seat (2),
while fastening down the valve bonnet
(7) with the screws (10). Gradually tight-
en the screws in a crisscross pattern. Ob-
serve tightening torques.
23. For further instructions concerning
Type 3379 Actuator (pneumatic connec-
tions, alignment of the actuator etc.)
