5.1 Equipotential bonding/Grounding

Equipotential bonding/grounding of the camera body is absolutely necessary, in order to
avoid static charges and formation of sparks. For this purpose, a screw terminal is pro-
vided at the rear side, at the bottom (right) (see Figure 5.1). The cross-section of the
equipotential bonding should comply with the National Ground Rules (at least 4 mm
